Create Poker Gaming Club in Photoshop

Today we will learn How to make Poker Gaming Club in Photoshop. We use blending tools, beautiful background and other technique in Photoshop. So let's get start....

Create a new file (File>New), having 1024×768 px and 72 dpi.

Using the Rectangle Tool (U), make the background of the picture we want to have.

Use the next demonstrated parameters on the made layer by making a mouse click on the layer we work with on the layers’ palette. Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

Gradient’s parameters:

Create a new file (File>New) of 2×1 px and select the Pencil Tool (B) (brush 1 px) of black color to make a kind of pattern, like the next one:

Edit>Define Pattern
Use again the Rectangle Tool (U) and continue representing the background of the picture.

The layer’s parameters: Fill 0%
Blending Options>Pattern Overlay

Using the same Rectangle Tool (U), it’s time to illuminate the central part of the picture.

Gradient’s parameters:

Make a copy of the last made layer and select the Free Transform option to turn over the copy, changing its parameters too: Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

Write the next demonstrated word, keeping the demands from the next table:

The layer’s parameters: Blending Options>Drop Shadow

Blending Options>Inner Shadow

Blending Options>Stroke

Create a new layer again and use on it the earlier applied instrument, Pencil Tool (B) (brush 1 px).

Make several copies of the last created layer, placing them the same way indicated next image:

The majority of the copies have the same parameters of the layers, demonstrated below: Blending Options>Outer Glow

Blending Options>Color Overlay

Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

Gradient’s parameters:

The rest of the layers have the next indicated parameters: Blending Options>Color Overlay

Create a new layer and use on it this time the Brush Tool (B) (Opacity of 30%) of the color #FFF799 to introduce the illuminating effect on the text’s letters.

The layer’s parameters: Opacity 87%
Blending mode-Linear Dodge

Combine in a group all the layers composing the POKER word (hold on Ctrl button for marking out the necessary layers and make a click on the left mouse’s button while taking the marked layers on Create a new groupselection). Merge Down the copy’s layers (CTRL+E) and use then the Free Transform selection to turn over the last made layer. Make a mouse click on the bottom part of the layer’s panel on Add a Mask option and choose theGradient Tool (G) to draw a half – transparent reflection.

Make the inscription now of the Club word:

The layer’s parameters: Blending Options>Drop Shadow

Next we shall use the Custom Shape Tool (U) to draw the symbols of the playing cards, choosing them from the table below:

The layer’s parameters: Fill 0%
Blending Options>Drop Shadow

Blending Options>Inner Shadow

Blending Options>Outer Glow

Blending Options>Inner Glow

Blending Options>Stroke

The layer’s parameters except this one, Blending Options>Stroke, are the same with the previous layer.

Select the earlier mentioned tool, Custom Shape Tool (U), to draw the next symbol:

The layer’s parameters are the same with the previous one, except Blending Options>Stroke

The last applied tool should be used for representing the last symbol of the cards.

The parameters are the same the previous layer has, except Blending Options>Stroke

Make copies of the layers containing the cards’ symbols. Use after that the Free Transform option to place the copies as on the picture below, changing the parameter Blending Options>Stroke, and replacing with other layer’s parameters:

Choose next the Line Tool (U) to draw a horizontal line, colored with #A6432D

The layer’s parameters: Blending Options>Outer Glow

Make seven copies of the last represented layer and select again the Free Transform option to place the copies the same way shown below:

Combine in a group all the layers containing the lines (hold on Ctrl button to mark out the necessary layers and make a mouse click on the left mouse’s button when moving down the marked layers on Create a new groupselection). Make a copy of the lines’ group, but select also the Free Transform option to place the copy as below:
